There, she spent eight years working for various national civil rights organizations helping mobilize local and state leaders on educational campaigns through training and coaching. Prior to joining the team at GGU, Neepa provided comprehensive career services at Mills College and has experience counseling within higher education, high school and a juvenile detention center. She has also served as Program Administrator at Missouri University of Science and Technology, facilitating conversations and developing programs focused on leadership development and cultural competence. Kandis also teaches the graduate career counseling course at Golden Gate University as an adjunct faculty member.
She has also spent some time abroad and is fluent in Spanish. Since moving back to the Bay Area, she has been a wellness coach and volunteer career counselor.
